Our Vision

The Marion Alliance for Racial Equity is a community-based organization made up of a diverse group of individuals who live, work, or visit Marion. We are actively working to identify and dismantle oppressive systems, amplify the voices of people of color, and honor their experiences.

Marion will be a welcoming, just, and racially diverse city where all people of color feel a sense of belonging and thrive.

    Stop racial profiling in traffic stops.

    Have a Mental Health liaison available for all crisis calls.

    City departments continually work to be more welcoming, inclusive, and diverse.

    Open doorways to make voting easier.
